Trapt in Art class

I am currently taking an Art class that requires that we paint from photos. I won't paint from copywrited material so that leaves my own photos. I'm running out of subjects. That point is moot anyway I am tired of painting from a photo. I want to paint from my own head but am afraid to do it without some guidance. Haven't found any credible art studios around here. Need to strike out on my own. Need some courage.

Hey its Vanessa from class! Sorry it took so long for me to view these its been busy! Anyways, these are really awesome! I think Chlymatis and Hummingbird are my favorite, they have such vibrant colors and look really good. Oil painting is quite a challenge I applaud you on working with it!
